Debbie has been teaching in a local Primary School for over 22 years and currently she also assumes responsibility as the Special Needs Co-ordinator and Pastoral Care Co-ordinator. For over 26 years Debbie has been involved with the work of Prospects, now Livability, as a member of the Regional Development Team and as a volunteer with the Lisburn Causeway Group. Fortnightly, Debbie leads a team of volunteers who learn from and with their friends with intellectual disability that God loves us. She has also been involved in leading the Special Celebration at the New Horizon Christian festival in Northern Ireland for many years.
Debbie lives in Lisburn and is married to David. They have two teenage children, Abby, a university student, and Adam, who is still at school. Debbie enjoys reading and running in her spare time and likes to spend time walking with her poodle, Bonnie.
