Paul began his working life as a medic before serving as a cross-cultural pastor, a youth worker and a lecturer in practical theology. His doctoral studies at the University of Aberdeen explored the nature of church and mission in contemporary post-Christian contexts. Paul is currently Head of Ministry Operations for Living Leadership, a UK-wide organisation that trains, supports and resources disciple-making leaders in the Church and is also Director of the Sophron Institute, a network of people in Northern Ireland seeking to promote a Christian worldview through speaking and writing about contemporary issues, with an emphasis on Christian apologetics and ethics.
